Lizzy Bean is an experienced gallery educator working with leading arts organisations including The Barber Institute
of Fine Arts
and IKON in Birmingham, Walsall New Art Gallery and further afield. Lizzy designs activities that respond to the work of other artists and she engages a
wide variety of audiences with both classical and contemporary art.

For the Barber Institute, Lizzy has worked on diverse
projects in the gallery and off-site that encourage greater understanding and appreciation of the collection. For IKON, Lizzy has completed several projects including a school garden project with Anya Gallaccio. In 2003 Lizzy was invited to select the Staffordshire Open Art Exhibition for the Shire Hall Gallery, Stafford and in 2005, she selected the Stoke Open, exhibited at The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery in Stoke-on-Trent.

“Lizzy is a multi-talented artist who has used the art collection to inspire work of the very highest standard.”
